A Team Approach
Whether you are in need of a week of conditioning after a minor medical procedure, or more extensive rehabilitation following major surgery, it’s our goal to restore patients to their highest level of function when they return to the community.
Physical Therapy services including:
- Gait and transfer training
- Prosthesis fitting, maintenance and training
- Orthotics fitting, maintenance and training
- Pain control
- Strengthening exercises
- Instruction in use of assistive ambulation devices (i.e., walkers, canes, etc.)
Occupational Therapy services including:
- Activities of daily living (i.e., dressing, dining, range of motion)
- Home-chore preparedness course
- Retraining of decreased coordination and de-conditioning
Speech Therapy to include:
- Swallowing difficulties
- Receptive and expressive language modalities
- Non verbal communication
- Development of plan to increase memory activities
